Popular and trendy with a laid back aura, Roscoe Village possesses an inviting appeal year round. The self proclaimed "Village Within the City," this neighborhood resides within the larger Northcenter community. With the party below at street level, you'll see condo balconies full of revelry taking in the scenes. 

A close knit community but also somewhat transient being part of the greater Northcenter area, there's always a new wave of young singles and families heading out its way to escape the busier life they experiences in their 20's and early 30's in areas like Lakeview and Lincoln Park. You're generally going to be amongst sociable, if not more mature, young working professionals as you walk the streets of Roscoe Village. 

Schools

Chicago Public School District 299's provides desirable Lane Tech College Prep, the largest CPS high school, where a selectively enrolled student base from throughout the city is academically challenged. The popular Audubon School is where the majority of Roscoe Village's K-8 learners prepare for high school.
