The smallest population of the suburban North Shore, this lakefront village's 2,600 residents enjoy a residential experience unlike most. Large, stately homes atop large plots of land line its tree canopied streets. Home to well educated and generally affluent inhabitants, Kenilworth is an exclusive setting without troves of available real estate inventory, due to its exceptionally confined space of 0.6 square miles. Nestled between its larger siblings Winnetka and Wilmette to its north and south, Kenilworth shares many similarities with its neighbors in that it enjoys public lakefront access, impressive homes in both size and scope, and tight knit community bonds. Architecturally significant homes with both old and new, Kenilworth feels more like a very large neighborhood than a true suburb. Though prominently positioned at the center of Chicago's North Shore, its residents have the same incredible access to all the shopping, dining, transportation, and other daily needs northern Chicagoland has come to expect.

Schools

District 203's New Trier High School, which consists of two separate campuses in neighboring towns Winnetka and Northfield, is regularly acknowledged within the state and nationally as a top-tier education designation with a 98% graduation rate and a 96% college enrollment rate. Every school year, it welcomes its new students from junior highs not only from Kenilworth's District 38, but also neighboring suburbs Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, Northfield, and small pockets of Glenview and Northbrook.

District 38's Joseph Sears School is the village's only public K-8 school before attending New Trier. 

In addition to the aforementioned K-12 public options, many parents enroll their children at one of the many popular private schools throughout the North Shore.
